f-Stop Friday
(One day late - my bad)

A view of the Forest behind my back yard

It's not really a forest, it's actually a windbreak. But windbreak doesn't start with "f", so today, it's a forest. Bubba and I like to ride through here. It's nice and shady. But in deerfly season, it's nearly unbearable. We really get swarmed.

The fallen ones you see got blown down in the early spring when we had a windstorm.

Have a good weekend, everyone!

You could have done the 'Fallen Forest".
By the way, I'm starving to death over at the resturant. Nothing to eat since early October.

I once had woods in my backyard (in upstate NY) and loved it! My friends and I used to play there and pick apples in the middle of the woods. You brought back a good memory.

I love the photo!!

Thanks, Marla! Yes, I'm not sure how long it will be before I run out of F things.

Thanks, Mary. And thank you for the surprises I had in my mailbox this week!

Ralph; Fallen forest is a mush better idea. I'll try and get something new up at the restaurant this week.

Scarlet; I wish I had apples in my fallen forest. The best I can find out there is mulberries.
