Here is a “Commuter Sighting” that I see every day. This US Flag with its big Cornhusker “N” base sits in the exact middle of an intersection in Nickerson, Nebraska. If you think it’s in your way when you’re driving down the street;
too bad.
Go around.
And salute while you’re at it.

That is the absolute coolest picture I've ever seen. Can you imagine something like that in Hollywood?

In the words of the great Toby Keith

...
When you see old glory flying, there's a lot of men dead
So we can sleep in peace at night when we lay down our heads...

Those beautiful words from the man who wrote...I love this Bar, The Taliban Song and Weeeeed with Willie...

Joe, I love Toby Keith. I posted a video of his "Love Me if you Can" a while back. And his duet with his daughter Krystal of the old song "Mockingbird?" Puts Carole King & James Taylor to shame. It'll be going through my head all day now!
ps - do you want to be a guest blogger here at OSM?

Janell, I am honored and I would love to.

When do you have in mind? I need to figure out how to get you my email address without posting it. I'd also want to change post name from my last name to something else. I think a couple of posts would be fun.
