I saw a painting of this pose at the Leanin’ Tree Museum, so here is my attempt to recreate it, using my own horse and the defunct privy in the woods behind my house.

Beautiful Janell. Between this and the birds in the trees, sounds like you live in a beautiful place.

Thank you, Joe. I love where I live. I admire LaDawn's adventurous spirit, but I like reading about it more than I would like living it.

I always wanted to recreate that pose of the two boys in overalls with the question "Been farming long?" with my own two children but I can't find any overalls....and now they are a bit too big!?!?!?

I believe this is a first.
I've never...to my knowledge... seen the words 'defunct privy' used together in a sentence.
Life is full of possibilities isn't it?
I enjoy reading your blog and the pictures are great. I rarely even check IN at my blog, it's just a dead thing lying there.

Mary, please resurrect your blog! We'd all enjoy checking in. It's how I take my coffeeless breaks and stay in touch with the outside world. You can keep us all up to date on how the next wedding plans are coming along.

LaDawn, Seb & Abby would make good models for any pic. What size are they? I'll keep an eye out for overalls in the Goodwill store. (If you don't mind hand-me-downs.)
