Here are my contributions to the Project Red & Green I read about over at Anna's blog via Paul's blog. I'd post a link to both of them here, but, even though Mary tried to teach me how to do that, I haven't figured it out. I think someone is going to have to come over to my house and walk me through the whole process. I do have a link to Paul's over on my sidebar.

Found this stuff in the produce department at the store where I work.

Those are certainly red & green.
Christmasy colors in July.
I hope you are doing well these days.
It has been TOO hot here. I hope this heat wave goes away soooon.
Grill up some of those peppers with some onions and chow down.
:-)

Your sister Sue visited my blog.
It was very nice of her to stop by.

Jamie Dawn; yes, we are having a heat wave here, too. TGFAC (thank God for air conditioning)!

You and Sue will get along very well. She's my favorite. She almost came out to Cliff's for Blogstock but had too much other stuff crammed into her schedule. There is a link to her blog in the family section of my sidebar.

Pictures look great, actually look better than the kids in the water.

By the way, hopefully that Jalapeno wasn't from Mexico. :-)

Now those are some bright colors Janell! Looks like you have been keeping busy since Blogstock. That was so much fun!

Hi Janell, you do good with your new camera. It takes very nice pictures and seems to have a good operator, Wad'cha get?

Beautiful colors, Janell. How about Granny Smith apples and Red Delicious?

And I love those Stoplight packs of peppers, Red, Yellow and Green.

I'll try this again.
See if I can make it understandable.
The top one is done right.
Mary Connealy's Blog
But if I do it right all the html code vanished and just leaves a live link.
So the bottom one is done right EXCEPT I put a space before "http and a space after .com/"
So copy this (should it actually work) and close that space, then copy your own web address over top of mine, and insert your desired name instead of mine. You can leave spaces on the part that is your name and you want to show.
Now I'll post this and see what comes up.

Nope, didn't work. Rats. The second 'live link' probably won't work.

Mary Connealy's Blog

how about this, this time I put spaced before and after the Web Address AND before and after the name

That didn't work either.

I'll quit now.

Sorry for cluttering up your comment! :(

Joe - thanks! No the jalopeno wasn't from MX. I checked with the produce manager. However, last month, I had to throw away some tomatoes because they came from the wrong place. What a waste.

Rachel; yes it seems like I've been busy. But now that all the fun stuff is over with for the summer, I hardly know what to do with myself. Guess I'll just keep bloggin' away.

Jim; no new camera yet. These were done with my old Pentax K1000.

Mary; I did one of a GS with some RD apples, but I had the fstop wrong and it was overexposed. Thanks for the insertion instruction. Maybe I'll get it figured out someday.

These are awesome red/green photos. We see the same thing in our local grocers, but you've got 'em looking so tasty.

Oh, I accidentally posted all those pictures on My Hats Blog. Thank you for sending them. Already one comment.
