It was a Packard Bell TV that took up about 1/5 of the room. It had a very small (maybe 5 inch) screen. It was not really black and white, but more like green and white. The first program I can remember was the news and a test pattern after the Star Spangled banner planned. I think that was about 1948 0r 49. The first program I really cared about watching was Hopalong Cassidy. ~ jb///LZ Bloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06020844948637658050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31423517.post-52912361444804266502010-11-14T09:35:10.128-06:002010-11-14T09:35:10.128-06:00What I remember about TV the most while growing up...What I remember about TV the most while growing up was the TV show 'Gunsmoke' and the 10:00 news. I'll have to ask my brothers! They are older and probably will remember it all better.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07802638037268741226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31423517.post-72342772987989870622010-10-01T09:10:47.982-05:002010-10-01T09:10:47.982-05:00Loved Lawrence Welk!
